Event: See Celebrations was created as a nurturing community event following the successful See Change Arts Festival in 2000. A successful funding application enabled a series of creative workshops and performances to occur over the three day long weekend in June. It was anticipated that through the creative inspiration of these events we could launch into artistic preparation for the 2002 See Change Arts Festival.
The festivals mascot was a purple octopus named Lulu who became a great companion to the See Change Festival mascot Gus the red Weedy Seadragon.
